Nadal 97 year old hit

It’s never too late for dreams to come true.

Just ask Leonid Stanislavskyi, a 97-year-old who aspired to meet 20-time major champion Rafael Nadal.

Recognized as the oldest competitive tennis player by the Guinness World Records, Stanislavskyi recently competed at the 40th ITF Super-Seniors World Individual Championships in Mallorca. His big wish was granted after being invited to the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, where he made the most of the opportunity by putting forth one important question.

“Could I play a point with you?,” he asked Nadal.

“Of course!” responded Rafa.

Donning eyewear and colorful attire, the Ukrainian proved his age is merely a number. Stanislavskyi's timing and consistency shone through during an extended rally with the left-hander.

Smiles larger than Nadal's trophy cabinet were shared by both while they hit, and photo ops followed. Feel Good Friday, for the win. Vamos!
