The power couples of tennis had the opportunity to speak about their significant others at this week's Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati. Elina Svitolina gave husband Gael Monfils some love in the short video and Denis Shapovalov gave a sweet compliment to his girlfriend Mirjam Bjorklund.

However, Matteo Berrettini took the cake when it came to the compliment-giving segment. The world No. 8 opened up about his girlfriend and WTA No. 48 Ajla Tomljanovic in the most genuine and heartwarming of ways.

"It's hard to find the right words, I mean we have been together for two years and every day it's like we are kind of improving and we're putting a small brick in our wall," Berrettini said.

He ended his portion with hoping that only she feels the same. The Italian/Australian couple has been together for over two years and are always spotted enjoying each other's company while on the road, and of course supporting each other through the rigorous demands of the game.

At last month's grass-court major, the two pushed each other to new heights by cheering on and motivating each other in the Wimbledon stands. Tomljanovic posted her best Grand Slam showing by reaching the quarterfinals and Berrettini found himself in his first major final at the event.

This week, Berrettini returned to the tour after withdrawing from the Olympics due to a thigh injury. He fell to good friend Felix Auger-Aliassime, 6-4, 6-3, in the Masters 1000 Round of 16.
