Only 10 double faults!

Aryna Sabalenka is feeling good and not only because she has managed to come out on top in all three of her Australian Open matches that have gone the distance, but because her double fault number is shrinking. In her most recent clash against Markéta Vondroušová she shook off a rough first set to defeat the Czech, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1, to advance into the second week.

"I'm really happy right now and mostly I'm happy that I made only 10 double faults," she said during her on-court interview.

Sabalenka is certainly finding the positives in everything and it's showing this week in Melbourne. In her second-round battle with China's Wang Xinyu, she hit 12 double faults in the first set alone which means she's trending in the right direction ahead of her Round of 16 match.

The 23-year-old is displaying perfect poise in dealing with service yips at the moment and finding solutions. No player can underestimate her fighting spirit and sheer grit out on the icey blue courts Down Under.

Next up, Sabalenka will take on Kaia Kanepi who is currently playing great tennis and knocked out Angelique Kerber in her opening round. The two have faced off only once before at last year's Gippsland Trophy event, in which Sabalenka fell in three sets to the current No.115.
