It's been a breakout 2021 season for Leylah Fernandez who began the year ranked No. 88 and has moved up 62 spots to No. 26 in the world. She's climbed a long way since claiming her first WTA match back in 2018 and she's taking time to soak in her incredible year in beautiful Turks & Caicos.

The Canadian claimed her first WTA title earlier this year at Monterrey's 250 event and also reached her first Grand Slam final at the US Open. Following her latest event at the BNP Paribas Open in California, Fernandez headed to the Amanyara Resort for some much needed R&R.

Joined by her sister Bianca and father Jorge, the 19-year-old was spotted taking in the amazing beachside views and dipping into the pool and ocean. However, the teen didn't stay away from the court to long as she hit the Har-Tru clay courts at the resort.

"Leylah shared her knowledge and passion for the game of tennis at the Club House, leading clinics for our guests.," the resort wrote on Instagram.

The US Open finalist helped guests improve their tennis game by leading a clinic and even spent time signing autographs and snapping photos. The special on-court session is apparently part of the resort's "Legends Program" and similar events are in the works.
