These days it seems like Novak Djokovic breaks some kind of record just about every week he plays, and this week is no different.

With his 6-3, 6-2 victory over Dennis Novak at the Davis Cup Finals on Friday, Djokovic passes Janko Tipsarevic for most Davis Cup singles wins for a Serbian player, since the Serbian team started competing at the event in 1995.

** Serbia first competed in Davis Cup in 1995 under the Yugoslav flag. Yugoslavia was renamed Serbia & Montenegro in 2004 before Serbia became an independent nation in 2007. Before 1995, Serbian players represented Yugoslavia.

They'll face Germany on Saturday.
