As the world is trying to get through the COVID-19 pandemic, players are using this opportunity to spend time with their family. Samantha Stosur recently brought home a daughter, not only dealing with quarantine and no tennis, but also the challenges of being a mom.

The 36-year-old sat down with Tennis Australia to discuss Evie and her 2020 plans and beyond. "There have certainly been a few days where I wake up and I think 'Oh, this is going to be a rough one, but all in all [Evie] has been pretty good,'" Stosur said when asked about the biggest challenges of being a new mother.

And her plans for the rest of 2020? "I decided I'm going to take the rest of the year off," she said. "I'm going to stay here and enjoy the rest of the year with my family...and just really enjoy being home."

Stosur's last match was the second round of the Oracle Challenger Series in Indian Wells where she lost to Vera Zvonareva.
