PARIS and NEW YORK, May 31, 2022

– Tennis Channel and Bloomberg Television have

formed a partnership that will put each network in front of the other’s audiences during the 2022

French Open in Paris, underway now through June 5.

On weeknights, Bloomberg Television and Radio will present their audiences with a one-minute,

Tennis Channel-produced update on the latest news and highlights from the world’s most

prestigious clay-court tournament. Tennis Channel viewers will see a Bloomberg-produced daily

market recap on these days as well, similar in length. Bloomberg Television and Tennis Channel

on-air talent will present the reports.

“With this partnership, we are pleased to provide our audience this special programming around

the French Open, and to give the Tennis Channel’s audience access to some of Bloomberg’s

leading news coverage, as well,” said Al Mayers, global head of Bloomberg Television and

Radio.

This is the second year of the partnership between Tennis Channel and Bloomberg Television.

They first began exchanging daily updates during Cincinnati’s Western & Southern Open in

August 2021, one of the sport’s top-level, Masters 1000 events. Later that month the networks

resumed their partnership for the 2021 US Open which, like the French Open, is one of the

sport’s four majors. In March 2022 Tennis Channel and Bloomberg Television renewed the

relationship during the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif., and the Miami Open. As with

Cincinnati, both are Masters 1000 events.

“Tennis Channel’s partnership with Bloomberg Television and Radio has allowed both parties to

capitalize on the similar demographics in our audiences and to bring added-value programming

to each network,” said Neil Roberts, executive director, Tennis Channel. “We’ve been really

pleased with the relationship and are happy to expand it to our coverage of one of the most

important events in all of sports.”
