Both Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal chose to practice on Court 2 ahead of Tuesday’s blockbuster quarterfinal at Roland Garros.
Nadal went first beginning around 4:30 p.m., having Marc Lopez feed him a lot of forehands.
He came forward for some brief volleys and hit some serves but kept movement to a minimum.
The 13-time champion departed 15 minutes or so before his slot ended.
A group of fans posted with a Serbian flag and replaced a block of Nadal fans in front…
… to welcome their favorite, who set up his belongings on the opposite side the Spaniard used.
Djokovic wasted little time in hitting at full speed…
… as well as getting in work on both sides of the court with plenty of sliding. His session also went for roughly 45 minutes.
