This mama is back on a tennis court: Less than two full months after the birth of her first child, daughter Bella, Belinda Bencic is hitting the ball again.

Bencic, who gave birth on April 23, teased her return to tennis in a social media post Wednesday, with a video that primarily featured Bella wiggling in her stroller in the foreground.

But in the background, the reigning Olympic gold medalist can be seen hitting groundstrokes, gingerly, while standing at the service line.

"Day 3," Bencic, now 27, captioned the video with a smiling emoji that conveys coy laughter.

The former world No. 4 announced that she and longtime partner Martin Hromkovic were expecting their first child in November of last year, two months after she played her last tournament of the 2023 season in San Diego.

Bencic was ranked No. 14 when she announced her pregnancy, and hadn't publicly hinted at her comeback plans until her latest post. She won two titles last year in Adelaide and Abu Dhabi, and posted a 31-13 win-loss record.

"There are a lot of moms in tennis right now who are inspiring me, so I can see that it is possible," Bencic said in a recent podcast appearance.
