Last Friday, Eugenie Bouchard turned 28 and over the weekend, she celebrated the special occasion at one of Malibu, California's most popular restaurants: Nobu.

Decked out in a hot pink ensemble paired with nude Steve Madden heels and matching eyeshadow, the Canadian seriously looked like she just broke out of a Mattel box. Giving Barbie energy, she exuded genuine happiness next to her friends and boyfriend Mason Rudolph of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

To top it all off, her birthday cake was also Barbie themed. Bouchard has much to be excited about as she takes in another year around the sun. She's certainly made the most out of her time away from the sport as she continues to recover from shoulder surgery. From Tennis Channel host to top model, the 2014 Wimbledon finalist proves she can do it all.

Bouchard didn't just celebrate her special day with fine dining at Nobu, but she also gave herself perhaps the greatest gift of all—being back on the court. The former world No. 5 posted a photo of herself hitting a forehand on Instagram, with the caption reading: "28."

Might just top that delicious beach-front dinner...

According to her most recent Instagram story, Bouchard has left one vacation spot for another and is currently in Hawaii. The Canadian hasn't competed since Monterrey's 250 event last March, but has come a long way in her recovery process and is trending in the right direction.
