Swiatek Alcaraz RG Trophies

Roland Garros may be already in the books, but there are still looks to be served from Paris.

A day after singles winners Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek lifted their trophies at the end of a dramatic and entertaining fortnight, the pair suited up in luxury fashion for their photocalls on tournament grounds.

“Merci Paris. You’re my favorite place to play, smile and wear some nice outfits once in a while,” four-time champion Swiatek shared on Instagram after being reunited with her favorite French accessory: the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen.

Carlos Alcaraz

Did you know that the Coupe des Mousquetaires used to have its own Louis Vuitton trophy trunk? The maison’s global face Alcaraz kept the LV theme going for his first photo shoot with the cup in Paris.

The 21-year-old, who became a Louis Vuitton ambassador last year, rocked a black bespoke double-breasted suit jacket and pants to the event held at Court Philippe Chatrier.

“What I love about Louis Vuitton is that they are more than just a fashion brand. It is more than just clothes. The brand is ingrained in culture and has been for over 100 years,” Alcaraz has previously said of the partnership.

“They understand how to mix fashion with art, design, sport and music, to make something unique and special.”

Alcaraz’s relationship with the French fashion house has only grown over the past year. Louis Vuitton unveiled a personalized Malle Vestiaire for all of his favorite clothes and shoes—just a replica of this handcrafted wardrobe trunk will set you back $164,000—and he was recently tapped to model the 2024 men's spring and summer collection.

Iga Swiatek

World No. 1 Swiatek’s photo shoot with the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen is rapidly becoming an annual tradition at Roland Garros. For her fourth trophy celebration in Paris, she made a statement in satin as she wore a look by Polish designer Magda Butrym.

Swiatek stepped out in the brand’s cream-colored silk wrap-neck top ($2,065) which featured a long sash that created a glamorous “scarf effect” for a touch of drama. She completed the look with wide-leg cupro trousers in navy ($960) by the same designer, and red patent leather pumps.

It’s not the first time that Swiatek turned heads in Magda Butrym, whose label “collaborates with independent artisans from all over Poland” to create hand-made and hand-embroidered pieces with high-quality fabrics. A favorite of celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Natalie Portman, the brand had a major moment in tennis after Swiatek wore a red Magda Butrym dress for the 2023 WTA Finals Cancun’s mostly all-white player party.

Swiatek completed the look with a Rolex Lady-Datejust watch ($30,600) in 18 karat Everose gold featuring a white dial and a President bracelet. The Pole has been a testimonee since 2021, and though her watch collection has expanded over the years she says she prefers the understated look.

"I have a Datejust and I love it," Swiatek said of the watch. "It’s elegant, quite small, and simple which is perfect because I value comfort and simplicity in my everyday life.

“I wear it almost all the time off the court. It became an important part of my non-sports outfits, which are simple with a touch of elegance.”
