Heads up, Wozniacki Hive: the former world No. 1 is delivering one last match in Denmark next year, when she plans to face Angelique Kerber on February 9 at the Royal Arena.

“Last time we played each other, I lost, so I’m going to work really hard to get my revenge!” she said in a video posted to social media on Thursday.

Caroline Wozniacki officially retired from the sport at the 2020 Australian Open, two years after winning her maiden major title Down Under. Wozniacki has since become a mom, giving birth to daughter Olivia in June.

With tennis ostensibly in the rearview mirror, Denmark’s own was eager to play one last match in front of her home fans, but the global pandemic left making that plan up in the air.

“I can’t wait to see you all there for an amazing night, a great party and some unbelievable tennis,” Wozniacki said. “See you there!”

Tickets are now available on Denmark’s Ticketmaster website.
