CONDENSED MATCH: Coco Gauff defeats Aryna Sabalenka to win Roland Garros

Everybody dance…NOW.

Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka lit up social media on Friday with their pre-Wimbledon TikTok dance that doubles as a détente from their near-dust-up following Roland Garros.

The dance followed a practice session shared on Centre Court.

Fans were surprised to see Gauff and Sabalenka so in sync after the latter’s post-final comments—in which Sabalenka claimed that she, with 70 unforced errors, “lost the match” more than Gauff won—but Gauff dampened sparks of a feud weeks ago during her post-victory media blitz.

“She’s probably emotional about [the loss], so I’m not going to take it with too much anything, and I hope people give her a bit of slack too,” she said in an interview with ESPN.

Sabalenka later apologized for the press conference and subsequent reaction, calling her comments “unprofessional” and clarifying that Gauff indeed deserved to win her second Grand Slam title in Paris.

Gauff posted her own TikTok with Sabalenka, captioning it with, "the olive branch was extended and accepted! we’re good so you guys should be too😂🤍"

As the top two seeds, Sabalenka and Gauff are on opposite halves of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships draw, meaning the pair are unlikely to meet for another dance-off before the final. Sabalenka is set to open her SW19 campaign against Canadian qualifier Carson Branstine, while Gauff will play her first match against Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska.
