Tecnifibre is officially making the hottest equipment in tennis: the French brand continued its surprising stranglehold atop the tennis rankings after Wimbledon when Daniil Medvedev rejoined Iga Swiatek to complete their sweep of ATP and WTA world No. 1.

Medvedev will be back in action this summer sporting a new Tecnifibre racquet, the T-Fight 305 Isoflex, revealed in a built-to-be-viral commercial posted to its official social media.

"What I really like about the racket is that it's perfectly balanced," he told Forbes in a story published on Monday. "I like to turn defense into offense and I feel that with this racket I can perfectly do that."

The ad begins with brief chat between Medvedev and his very own reflection, from which he vows to take his game to the next level as he arrives on court with his new stick.

“The time has come to be tactical, tenacious, and true to your game,” narrates the reigning US Open champion, who is set to defend his maiden major victory in August.

The ad concludes with a supremely GIF-able clip of Medvedev sipping from a teacup.

“Love the T,” he smiles.

Medvedev was forced to miss Wimbledon due to the All England Club’s ban on Russian and Belarusian players, but spent the finals weekend gearing up for what should be a highly successful hard-court swing.

The 26-year-old is an astounding 138-33 on the surface since the start of 2019, and has reached the semifinals or better at five of the last six Australian and US Opens. It was in New York that he ended Novak Djokovic’s quest for a Calendar Year Grand Slam and dismissed the world No. 1 in straight sets to secure his first Grand Slam title.

Armed with new Tecnifibre technology promising “dynamic control,” might he serve similar T this summer?
