Nick Kyrgios has never been afraid to defend his actions on and off the court. The 26-year-old recently, once again, gave his opinion on social media of a past incident.

During his 2019 Wimbledon second-round match, Kyrgios squared off against Rafael Nadal. The affair became heated when the Aussie, seemingly on purpose, hit a forehand directly into the chest of the Spaniard. While there is no specific rule saying a player can't hit his opponent with a ball during a point, it is frowned upon and usually results in an apology from the offending player. Kyrgios did not apologize.

"I don't care. Why would I apologize? I mean the dude has how many slams? How much in his bank account? I think he can take a ball to the chess man," Kyrgios said in his post-match presser that would soon go viral.

The shot led to arguments debating whether the point was fair or not.

This week on his Instagram account, Kyrgios reposted the video in a story with the caption: "Very fair in my opinion." Clearly, he still feels that his shot was justified over two years later. Ultimately, Nadal ended up on top, posting a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(3) score.
