Hsieh Su-Wei never fails to delight fans, whether it's posting Daniil Medvedev looking like a fish in Pokemon GO or making fun of how many brands she's wearing while on the court over social media. So to no surprise she's done it again, but this time she did it live in the California desert.

Partnering with Elise Mertens, the two took out teenage-duo Leylah Fernandez and Coco Gauff, 7-5, 6-4, to advance into the semifinals. Following the exciting victory, she didn't hesitate to pull out some interesting headgear from her bag. It was a green dinosaur hat and fans cheered her on as she walked over to the mic for her on-court interview with Mertens.

"This is from the physio room and they were helping us for the whole year," Hsieh told the crowd. "They working so hard and they give me this yesterday. The girl was wearing this, it was her birthday.

"So she request. So I think, OK I do it."

The No. 2 seeds are looking to capture their second title of the season at the BNP Paribas Open. Hsieh and Mertens held up the Wimbledon trophy this summer.
