If you're in the dating pool, Madison Keys wants you to just keep swimming.

The Australian Open champion is the definition of #couplegoals with her longtime partner Bjorn Fratangelo, whom she married in the 2024 offseason, and she could hardly contain herself during the Mutua Madrid Open this week when Tennis Channel asked the newlywed to share some advice to those less lucky in love.

"I've been with the same person for like, 10 years, so I don't even know what it's like out there anymore!" Keys quipped through laughter. "But best of luck to all of you. It'll be great. Just keep going!"

But as far as we're concerned, she might not be giving herself enough credit.

Keys' relationship with Fratangelo evolved organically to an on-court partnership, too, when the former Top 100 player also started coaching her in 2023—and the pair sealed their love story's place in tennis history in January when Keys stormed to a long-awaited first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.

It was Fratangelo who encouraged Keys to tweak her service motion, which she confessed she eventually agreed to "kicking and screaming," and encouraged her to explore changing her racquets from her longtime sponsor Wilson to Yonex—two moves that Keys credited for her exploits Down Under.

The pair are living proof that one of the features of a strong relationship is the willingness to compromise.

"I’m a pro now ... so if you need marital advice, just call me. We’ve got it all figured out so far," Keys famously joked in her on-court interview after beating fellow American Danielle Collins in Melbourne. "But yeah, it’s been really good.

“Having to admit that he’s right isn’t always my favorite thing, and it happens a lot more than I want it to,” she added to chuckles from the crowd. “But, I’m learning to just kind of nod and he knows that I’m saying he’s right.”
