Nick Kyrgios’ return to tennis is coming in with a bang, and now with a dink.

Not only is the Aussie returning to the pro tennis tour in 2025, but he’s already made plans to debut his pickleball skills on the pro level. Just after Kyrgios will return to his home Slam for the first time since 2022, the Carvana PPA Tour will host the first Australia Pickleball Open starting Jan 28 in Melbourne.

As announced on Nothing Major Podcast, retired tennis star turned pickleball pro Jack Sock will be taking his game international, intending to compete at the pickleball Slam.

“I’m going to dink around in Australia,” Sock says under one condition.

The condition? That he and Kyrgios team up for some men’s doubles action.

“You hated the Aus Open, but then you’re going to come play here pickleball?” Kyrgios reacts.

Although Sock continued to bash the first Grand Slam of the year, Kyrgios eventually gave into the American’s proposal and confirmed he’ll be competing alongside him.
