Monica Puig hasn't competed on the WTA Tour since last year's Roland Garros and although she's battling to stay healthy, things are looking up for the player from Puerto Rico. On Saturday morning, Puig took to Instagram to announce she's no longer on the market. The 2016 Olympic gold medalist is officially engaged to Nathan Rakitt.

The couple spent a beautiful day at the Lost Dutchman State Park in Arizona. With the jaw-dropping mountains serving as their background, Rakitt got down on one knee and proposed and Puig didn't hesitate in saying yes to forever.

"He said: Ready to jump?!

"I SAID YES!!!!!" she wrote as her Instagram caption.

The newly engaged couple already has one of the cutest wedding hashtags going for them: "RacketstoRakitts."

Doesn't get much sweeter than that. Puig showed off her stunning new ring in her Instagram stories and said: "90 percent sure I'm still dreaming."

It's still uncertain how long the two have been dating. However, Puig began commenting on Rakitt's Instagram posts back in 2020. The 28-year-old previously dated MLB player Derek Dietrich, who played for the Miami Marlins when the two became official back in 2017.
