Less than two weeks ago, Rafael Nadal celebrated his 22nd major title in Paris. On Wednesday, he was honored by the Balearic Government for all of his accomplishments in the sport.

And now, it appears even bigger congratulations are in order. For Nadal and wife Maria Francisca Perello are reportedly set to become parents for the first time, according to HOLA.

Longtime partners, Nadal and Perello married in October 2019. A short time after that, Nadal told TODAY Australia in an interview just before the 2020 Australian Open he “always wanted to play tennis, then I have one year off, and then start my family,”

Nadal is yet to address the exciting life event publicly, though will surely be asked about the topic at Wimbledon should he be cleared to play.

To the parents to be—vamos!
