He’ll never go out of style! Roger Federer celebrates Swiftie era at Taylor’s Swiss show

If there were any further proof needed that Roger Federer is living his best life after his retirement from tennis, look no further than Zurich on Tuesday night.

The Swiss icon joined the ranks of the Swifties with his family at the Stadion Letzigrund, enjoying the latest stop of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour before getting a selfie with the star herself.

Federer fully embraced the occasion, even posting an Instagram story of the numerous friendship bracelets he collected on the night, sporting the words 'Problems', 'Hero', and ‘Wildest’.

He’s not the first tennis star to be seen on the Eras Tour this year, with French Open champion and Taylor superfan Iga Swiatek attending the singer’s Liverpool show. The women’s world No. 1 even received a personal note from Swift, which she emotionally shared on social media.

Federer had previously shared his intention to attend one of Swift’s concerts in the recently-released Amazon documentary Federer: Twelve Final Days.

“This summer Taylor Swift is coming to Switzerland so of course we’ll go,” he said.

“We went to a lot of concerts last year. We… saw [Bruce] Springsteen twice and Elton John,” he added.

He’s made no secret of his admiration for the American’s music, even using it in his social media posts. Although his twin teenage daughters Charlene and Myla are huge fans, he describes himself as a Swiftie in his own right.

The Eras Tour stop comes just days after the eight-time Wimbledon champion was seen giving James Bond a run for his money in the crowd on Centre Court.

He was also present for long-time friend and rival Andy Murray’s final match at the All-England Club, although he chose not to come out on court for the post-match tribute alongside tennis greats including Novak Djokovic, John McEnroe and Martina Navratilova.
