Before Shelby Rogers, Elise Mertens and Petra Martic hit the court at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic this week, the three stopped by Silicon Valley's Humane Society. WTA Charities donated $2500 to the organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of our four-legged friends by facilitating quality adoptions, training, medical care and more.

The ruff day at the office involved preparing tasty peanut butter treats for the pups. Using "Kong" toys the three packed in dog treats and topped it off with Skippy peanut butter. The day was also filled with learning more about what exactly the humane society does day in and day out for the animals and their programs.

"Keep up the inspiring work," Rogers wrote on Instagram.

After creating the special treats for the pups up for adoption, the WTA players enjoyed some time running around with the dogs and of course puppy hugs, which Rogers rates 10/10.

The WTA 500 event is celebrating 50 years and is the longest running women's only WTA tournament in the world. The action begins on Monday.
