Sam Querrey copies Eugenie Bouchard's Instagram photo shoot, with hilarious results

As action at Wimbledon hits the second week, two former grass-court standout are having a little fun at each other's expense: 2014 finalist Eugenie Bouchard and 2017 semifinalist Sam Querrey combined for a "joint" Instagram photo shoot that left the internet in stitches.

The fun began for the two, who now mingle together as players on the PPA Tour in professional pickleball, when Bouchard posted a series of outdoor photos on her Instagram account where she posed in a gold-chained green string bikini.

"Sundays are for yard work," she cheekily captioned the outdoor series from Miami, as she laid out on a lawn chair, held a garden hose, and raked leaves.

It sparked something creative in Querrey, who had all the time in the world on his hands with his wife of six years, Abby Dixon, and their two young sons away on vacation.

"I was actually thinking of doing a similar photo montage later this week," he quipped in the comments of Bouchard's post.

He delivered, from his own green swimsuit to his garden-hose water pressure. See the hilarious results for yourself.

The results were a hit with fans, and current and former tennis players too.

"This went platinum," Reilly Opelka said, while Bianca Andreescu and Leylah Fernandez couldn't stop laughing.

"OMG," 2019 US Open champion Andreescu simply added.

Querrey credited the artistic direction of another PPA pro, Wes Burrows, for "[doing] a stunning job of finding my good angles."

Bouchard, to her credit, took the whole thing in stride, replying: "Let's do a joint photo shoot next time."
