WATCH: Simona Halep tells all in the latest episode of Confessional Cart.

Some Confessional Carts have been hilarious, others have been quirky, but Simona Halep’s was always going to be more err more towards earnestness.

“I’m grateful because I’m healthy and that I can still play tennis,” admitted the former world No. 1 as she compiled 12 points during the fast-paced challenge.

Halep did loosen up as the game went on, sharing her wildest player party memory and her favorite emoji (the winking-tongue-out, of course).

“We had to dance two hours non-stop on the beach in Acapulco!”

Halep has been on a non-stop grind this summer, trying to maximize her schedule while also preserving her health in time for the US Open, where she’ll arrive as one of the favorites to win her third major title.

The former Roland Garros and Wimbledon winner has never been past the semifinals in Flushing Meadows, but won her third National Bank Open title—and her first in Toronto—last week when she survived surprise finalist Beatriz Haddad Maia in three sets.

What can we expect from Halep in New York? Whatever she tells us, we’ll know it’s the truth.

“One compliment I’d give myself? That I’m honest.”

Can anyone beat current leader Alexander Bublik’s 29 points? Stay tuned to find out!
