Under the brightly lit Rod Laver Arena lights on Thursday night, Rafael Nadal was in full control against Michael Mmoh. In his seamless 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 win over the American, he only encountered one true  challenge—a fan that may have had a little too much to drink.

At 6-1, 5-4, a focused Nadal would approach the baseline and prepare to serve out the set, but was rudely interrupted by a fan (some might call her a "Karen") shouting in the stands.

"Hurry up, you OCD f**k," the woman yelled down at Nadal.

After several attempts to serve while being interrupted, Nadal would finally crack.

"What's going on?" Nadal yelled back.

The crowd would erupt, pointing fingers at the woman in the stands.

She then gave the middle finger to the 20-time Grand Slam champion. In utter shock, his frustration turned to laughter over all of the confusion.

"Who, me?" Nadal said, pointing at himself with a smile.

It's hard to believe the 34-year-old has any haters during his decorated career, but the way he handled the incident was absolutely priceless. He has probably upped his fan count, if that's even possible.

"For me, was funny," Nadal told press. "Honestly, somebody doing the finger to me, I don't know the reason, but was—yeah. I was surprised, but at the same time was thinking, poor girl. Because probably she was drunk or something like this. I don't know."

The Spaniard would attempt to serve one more time, but "Karen" was calculated and waited to scream again just before Nadal began his service motion. The entire incident was brief and she was escorted out of the arena by security.

Ever the pro, Nadal quickly got back to business, winning 84 percent of first serve points and 94 percent of points at the net against Mmoh.

The No. 2 seed will take on Cameron Norrie on Friday for a spot in the fourth round.
