Solinco decided to take the finest qualities and lessons learned from those models to create an entirely different and unique offering. They spent four years and countless prototypes refining the characteristics to make a new “best-of” string.
The result is the Mach-10.
Made with an entirely new composition, the string is designed to generate faster ball speeds with less effort and a more rewarding response. A deeper ball pocketing at contact produces a distinct sound as well as a more forgiving feel.
By their nature, polyester strings are firm and low powered. Many softer varieties offer attractive levels of power and comfort for the category but often suffer from a limited life span. Their tension drops quickly, bringing a lack of control and playability with it.
Solinco believes it has solved this problem with the Mach-10 thanks to its CloudForm technology. It’s a chemical formula that noticeably improves tension maintenance for a more consistent string bed. The greater predictability and extended performance will allow users to enjoy the benefits of a more powerful, arm-friendlier string without the need for frequent restringing.
