MIAMI—The Tennis Channel Live Desk welcomed an extra special guest on Sunday with a little help from Bianca Andreescu after her decisive victory at the Miami Open.

Fresh off defeating 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin, Andreescu was in the midst of a rollicking chat with Prakash Amritraj when Bibi’s dog Coco crashed the desk to make her official media debut.

“She needs no introduction,” joked the former US Open champion of her favorite pup, who is a regular at Andreescu’s matches and was featured in her first children’s book released last year.

Panting happily in Andreescu’s arms, Coco could unfortunately offer little in the way of match analysis, but she certainly seemed pleased with her mom’s straight-sets performance against Kenin.

“I definitely feel good vibes in Miami and she’s definitely liking it,” Andreescu said. “Back home in Canada, she can’t go on as many walks as she can here in beautiful weather.”

Coco and the rest of the Andreescu family will be back on the Hard Rock Stadium for Bianca’s fourth-round encounter with Ekaterina Alexandrova. A win on Monday night would put the former world No. 4 in only her second WTA 1000 quarterfinal since finishing runner-up in Miami back in 2021.
