Christian Girl Autumn is almost upon us, and you know what that means: time to light some candles! 🕯️

Lucky for tennis fans that Donna Vekic has the girls and boys covered in a new ad for her line of luxury DNNA candles, and three reasons why they work in every home.

The entrepreneurial-minded Croat first launched the brand in 2021, staring with a collection beeswax-based candles—proceeds from which specifically help support the bees of Kopacki Rit Nature Park in Kopacevo, Croatia—before expanding into interior fragrances.

DNNA has gone on to win the Red Dot Award, claim second place in the Dieline packaging design competition, and third place at the Hiiibrand Awards.

“I think my brand speaks a lot to the idea of duality: the ups and downs, the highs and lows,” she told me at the time. “It’s definitely who I am, and I hope people will like it.”

Vekic began the 2023 season by rounding out her international lifestyle brand with Donnasport, a womenswear collaboration with Uomo Sport.

“I’ve had big visions and goals ever since I was little,” she said before debuting the collection at the Australian Open. “I’m still young, I’m 26, but I honestly feel very old! I’ve been on tour for more than 10 years. I’ve always had a lot of interests outside tennis, but I’m happy that I’m able to incorporate the goals and ideas I have outside of tennis into tennis.

“The candle is completely outside tennis, but now, who knows where I’m going to go next?”

On the court, Vekic enjoyed a resurgent season by returning to the WTA’s Top 20 earlier this spring, having reached the Australian Open quarterfinals and won her fourth career title in Monterrey.

How will Vekic keep fans buzzing before the 2023 season concludes?
