The GOAT is back in his natural habitat. After dropping out of the French Open following a solid third-round win over Dominik Koepfer, Roger Federer headed to Halle to begin his grass-court preparations.

The ATP released an exclusive video of the father of four training on the surface for the first time this season. Sporting fresh UNIQLO gear, Federer is hoping that his time at the ATP 500 tournament will help prepare him for a deep Wimbledon run.

Federer has won the Halle Open a record 10 times. Coming back to grass feels like a long time coming for the 20-time Grand Slam champion. He has not played a tournament on this surface since Wimbledon in 2019, where he lost an epic final to Novak Djokovic despite holding two match points.

The 20-time major champ also got in a hitting session with Japan's Kei Nishikori who also reps UNIQLO.

This season, Federer has only played three tournaments so far: Doha, Geneva, and Roland Garros.
