De Minaur Madrid Arrival

Advantage, Alex de Minaur.

The world No. 8 showed up in style for the Mutua Madrid Open with some help from his partner in crime. Participating in the ATP’s latest “Athlete Arrivals” campaign, De Minaur looked the part in his sleek Wilson wardrobe.

“Madrid Vibes, nos vemos mañana,” wrote the Aussie on Instagram.

“Ps: had the best stylist for this.”

Anyone could have guessed who played that part, though fiancée Katie Boulter ensured there were no doubts about her impact on De Minaur’s winning fit.

“In case you were wondering… stylist: Katie Boulter” the Brit would confirm in a playful comment.

Both members of the tennis power couple are due to take center stage in back-to-back matches on Manolo Santana Stadium Friday evening. De Minaur faces red-hot Spanish sensation Rafael Jodar, before Boulter takes on former finalist Jessica Pegula.

Ahead of De Minaur’s entrance, Zizou Bergs was featured by the men’s tour in a carousel of images.

“Omw to go pay for laundry in Madrid!” commented Tommy Paul in response to the Belgian’s look that played with contrasting light and dark tones much like De Minaur's.

Bergs has emerged as a face of the ATP’s fashion-forward initiative. The 26-year-old previously participated in the launch of the pre-match ritual at the BNP Paribas Open, before saying yes again for their Miami Open rollout.

Ethan Quinn and Matteo Arnaldi also joined in for the Madrid installment of this evolving series.
