Every week, American players from the ATP and WTA tours step up to the plate around the world. Here are the top American movers and shakers that shone brightest this week:

1.     Desirae Krawczyk

Mixed Doubles Champion, Wimbledon (London, Great Britain)

After winning the mixed doubles title with Joe Salisbury last month's French Open, the American thought “Let’s do that again.” Facing her former partner in the Wimbledon mixed doubles final, Krawczyk earned her back-to-back Major mixed doubles title, winning the trophy with Neal Skupski.

2.     Sebastian Korda

Round of 16, Wimbledon (London, Great Britain)

In his Wimbledon debut, many fans saw Korda as America’s hope for a Wimbledon title. While he didn’t make it to the final, the American managed to reach the Round of 16 before falling to Russia's Karen Khachanov. Grabbing a few solid wins over tour veterans Roberto Bautista Agut and Kei Nishikori in Halle the week prior certainly gave him confidence to make a hard push at the grass-court major.

3.     Coco Gauff

Round of 16, Wimbledon (London, Great Britain)

While Gauff’s result at this year’s Wimbledon wasn’t as strong as her quarterfinal run at the French Open, the American is beginning to make deep runs on the major stages more routine. She fell to 2018 champion Angelique Kerber in the Round of 16, but she's only 17-years-old and has time on her side.

4.     Danielle Collins

Quarterfinalist, Hamburg European Open WTA 250 (Hamburg, Germany)

For her fourth quarterfinal run this season, Collins headed to Germany to vie for her first title of the season. She couldn’t get past Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the quarterfinals, but it’s only a matter of time before Collins earns her first trophy of 2021.
