Andy Murray says he's training regularly and should be fit for Wimbledon, where he has been given a wildcard for the event.

A two-time champion at the All England Club, Murray has played just four events this season, and returned to win a pair of matches on grass a week ago at at Queen's. It was his first event since being sidelined with a groin injury, which he described as a slight issue compounded by lack of match play.

"Probably I’ll take one day off between now and the start of the tournament but that’s the plan this week—one hard day, one easy day, try and play as many sets as I can in the build up," Murray was quoted as saying by PA.

Though Murray's home is not far from Wimbledon, he will be required to keep to the player 'bubble' during the tournament and is unsure if his four kids will get to attend the event to watch their father.

"Maybe my parents will come along. But Kim and the kids, I’m not sure," he said.

It will be Murray's first singles appearance at the grasscourt Grand Slam since 2017, and he is finding singles "tough enough" that he has not entered the mixed or doubles events.

"Singles is enough for me. So I’ll stick to singles this year," said Murray.

Murray is ranked No. 119, up five spots following his Queen's opening-round win.
