After topping the WTA rankings wire-to-wire in 2025, Aryna Sabalenka was named the tour's Player of the Year on Monday.

A vote of the international media determine's the tour's player awards, and the 27-year-old earned almost 80% of the vote following a dominant 2025 in which she reached the most finals (nine), won the most titles (four), recorded the most match wins (63) and set a new single-season prize money record by banking $15,008,519.

Sabalenka is the seventh woman to repeat as Player of the Year since the WTA established the award in 1977, joining Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Lindsay Davenport, Serena Williams and Iga Swiatek. Ten players have won the award more than once all-time.

While the world No. 1 took home the tour's top year-end award, Amanda Anisimova, Belinda Bencic, Victoria Mboko and the doubles team of Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend were also honored.

Two-time Grand Slam finalist Anisimova was named the tour's most improved player, while Bencic and Mboko were lauded as Comeback Player and Newcomer of the Year, respectively.

Siniakova and Townsend took home Doubles Team of the Year honors, giving Siniakova her fifth such award; she is now tied with Navratilova for the tour record.
