When the Laver Cup takes over The O2 in London next year, the pair of players to clinch the last two editions of the event will be back to lead their squads.

On Tuesday, organizers announced that Carlos Alcaraz and Taylor Fritz have confirmed their 2026 participation for second-year captains Yannick Noah and Andre Agassi.

“To play at The O2 in London is going to be amazing,” Alcaraz said in a statement. “Having the chance to be in a team with players that normally I’m fighting against during the year is really unique and what makes me keep wanting to play Laver Cup every year.”

Added Fritz, “Laver Cup is such an exciting week for me. I love the team atmosphere, the energy you get playing these matches, when you’re playing for more than yourself is incredible.”

The Spaniard rallied Team Europe to a dramatic victory in 2024 when he defeated Fritz to seal the title at Berlin. The American exacted revenge this year in San Francisco with a Day 2 win over Alcaraz, before securing the trophy for Team World against Alexander Zverev.

The O2 is the first venue in the event’s nine-year history to get a second calling as host. In 2022, the arena served as the site of Roger Federer’s emotional retirement. That memorable weekend in London ended with Team World celebrating its maiden victory after losing the first four editions.

Team Europe leads the overall series 5-3. The latest installment of this rivalry will be played out from September 25-27, 2026, with hospitality packages currently on sale and full tournament ticket packages released in February.
