Coco Gauff’s custom Australian Open kit is finally available to shop

Fans of Coco Gauff and tennis fashion have plenty to celebrate, as they can finally get their hands on her custom looks for the first time.

The American made a winning debut in Melbourne with a confident first-round victory over Kamilla Rakhimova on Monday, unveiling her custom New Balance outfit in the process. Gauff walked out on Rod Laver Arena in a periwinkle tank and pleated skirt, paired with her signature Coco CG2 shoes—all perfectly coordinated with her blue Head Boom racquet.

More notably, this marks the first time fans will be able to purchase a version of Gauff’s custom tournament kit: A marigold-orange tank and skirt inspired by her on-court look are already on sale in select New Balance markets.

“A lot of people have been asking for a while to be able to buy my kits,” Gauff told Tennis.com in Melbourne.

“There are two colors. I decided to wear purple today, because I felt like it gave more ‘day’ vibes. And obviously there is an orange kit for night.”

The custom kit from longtime sponsor New Balance is an ode to “the spirit of summer,” featuring a palette of hot marigold, navy blue, and daybreak periwinkle, and designed to embrace effortless movement.

It’s all part of Gauff’s 2026 Australian Open collection, which also includes a cropped tee and shorts for practice, along with an oversized color-blocked tracksuit designed for a statement walk-out look.

“I wanted something that felt powerful yet feminine—and shared my love for bold colors and the beach!” Gauff said in a statement. “I’m excited that fans can now wear a kit inspired by my on-court look. It’s a special way to share this journey with them.”

The collection will be available starting January 17 online in select global markets, at all New Balance flagship stores (except Oxford Street, London), and at New Balance’s Federation Square pop-up in Melbourne throughout the tournament.

On the court, Gauff’s own journey in Melbourne also started without a hitch as she looks to move beyond the semifinals here for the first time.

The No. 3 seed secured a comfortable 6-2, 6-3 win over Rakhimova. She worked through some familiar serving struggles, hitting seven double faults across two sets, but settled in as the match progressed, cutting that number to just one double fault in the second set as she closed out the match in one hour and 39 minutes.

“Once I got through kind of the first game—I had like three doubles in the first game—it was pretty much smooth sailing from there,” Gauff told press afterward. “Maybe I would have liked to put more first serves in the court, for sure.

“I think I just erased that first game, and then after that I was better… As the match went on, I just told myself to accelerate on my serve more. Obviously when that happens, I get more speed and velocity. So I think the next match I'll try and start quicker than I did today.”

Gauff will face Olga Danilovic next. The 24-year-old left-hander advanced after defeating 45-year-old wild card Venus Williams, the eight-time Grand Slam champion, in the first round.
