Jannik Sinner has defeated Daniil Medvedev, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4), to not only win his first title of the year and the milestone 25th tour-level title of his career, but to make a little bit of history.
Having already won Miami, Canada, Cincinnati, Shanghai and Paris, the Italian now completes his career set of Masters 1000 hard-court titles with his first Indian Wells trophy.
