Watch every doubles and singles match from Laver Cup, live on Tennis Channel starting Friday.

The Slams may be over, but the tennis isn't. Case in point: the eighth edition of Laver Cup, which begins Friday, September 19 in San Francisco, Calif. Team Europe, which has won the competition five times and is defending champion, will face Team World, which has won two of the last three Laver Cups.

And everything Laver Cup is on the Tennis Channel app:

  • Stream every match live
  • Access to behind-the-scenes bench cams and Laver Cup Animated
  • On-demand replays, match highlights, press conferences, The Match in 15 Minutes and exclusive player interviews from the on-site desk

Team World, captained by Andre Agassi, includes three Americans—Taylor Fritz, Alex Michelsen, Reilly Opelka—Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca, Australian Alex de Minaur and Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo. Players from six nations will compete for Team Europe, captained by Yannick Noah: Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, Alexander Zverev of Germany, Holger Rune of Denmark, Casper Ruud of Norway, Jakub Mensik of Czechia and Flavio Cobolli of Italy.

How Laver Cup Works

Each match on Friday (three singles followed by one doubles) is worth 1 point. Each match on Saturday (three singles followed by one doubles) is worth 2 points. Each match on Sunday (one doubles followed by three singles) is worth 3 points. All matches are best-of-three sets, with a 10-point tiebreaker used in place of a third set.

A team wins when they reach 13 points; if the competition is tied after all 12 matches, a one-set doubles match is played, with ad scoring. Other rules:

  • Each player competes in at least one singles match during the first two days.
  • No player can play singles more than twice during the three days.
  • At least four of the six players must play doubles.
  • No doubles combination is played more than once.

Hello, animated Casper!

Hello, animated Casper!

Wait, What's the Animated Feed?

New this year, the Tennis Channel app will simulcast Laver Cup singles matches on its Laver Cup Animated feed, providing real-time animated overlays and offering fans a fresh, gamified approach to tennis coverage originally introduced at Australian Open 2025. Fans can also tune in to Tennis Channel 2, the network’s sibling channel, for expanded event coverage, including select matches on the Laver Cup Animated feed.

“The Laver Cup has quickly become one of the sport’s premier events, and we’re proud to deliver it exclusively across Tennis Channel’s platforms,” said Jeff Blackburn, Chairman and CEO of Tennis Channel. “From live coverage on our networks, to streaming on our Tennis Channel app and website, to the launch of Laver Cup Animated, fans can experience every match and every point all weekend long.”
