Leonardo Mayer, Ruben Bemelmans add to off-season weddings

The offseason is wedding season on the tennis tour, with Leonardo Mayer and Ruben Bemelmans among the players tying the knot.

The 32-year-old Mayer married girlfriend Milagros Aventin in Buenos Aires. Several other South American players including Juan Martin del Potro, Diego Schwartzman, and Pablo Cuevas were guests.

Also, 31-year-old Bemelmans married his girlfriend, Maaike de Witte, in Ghent, Belgium.

They join Kiki Bertens and Roberto Bautista Agut among the players getting hitched. Rafael Nadal beat the rush, getting married a couple of months ago.

Mayer is No.92 in the rankings. Bemelmans, who has reached a career-high No. 84, is No. 260 in the rankings.
