As talented as Humbert is, his return of serve has been a red flag this season. Despite his No. 31 ranking, he rates as only the 70th best player in terms of percentage of return games won.

The court in Marseille clearly rewards big servers and aggressive play, as Matthew Ebden and Pierre-Hugues Herbert have crushed their way into the quarterfinals. At +3.5 games against Humbert, all we need is Rinderknech to serve well and keep it close.

In the Doha semifinals, Andrey Rublev will face Roberto Bautista Agut. Incredibly, it will be Rublev’s first singles match of the tournament, as Richard Gasquet and Marton Fucsovics decided they would rather rest and recover than face Rublev’s fearsome forehand. That’s understandable, but Bautista Agut is not one to shy away from a challenge.

The Spaniard played a flawless third set in his win over Dominic Thiem, and at -125, is a good bet to win a set against the incredibly in-form Russian. I don't think Bautista Agut will win outright, but given his incredible level on Thursday, he should make this encounter close.
