Just when you thought 2025 couldn't get any better for Lorenzo Musetti: On Saturday, he and longtime partner Veronica Confalonieri welcomed their second son, Leandro, to the world.

"Love is multiplied," wrote the world No. 8 in introducing the new family of four on Instagram. The couple announced Confalonieri's second pregnancy in May, and their new addition joins their first son, Ludovico, who was born last March.

The birth announcement was met warmly by Musetti's tennis family, with sweet comments left by his fellow Italians Lucia Bronzetti, Sara Errani, Jasmine Paolini and Martina Trevisan, as well as Marta Kostyuk and Holger Rune.

Last year, Musetti confessed that Ludovico's birth helped him mature as a player and person. The change in perspective that came with first-time fatherhood led to a breakout season where he reached the Wimbledon semifinals, and won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.

"The birth of my son gave me a lot of responsibility on the Lorenzo player, not just of the figure of the father," he told TENNIS.com at the end of 2024. "So, definitely in that area, I think that's where I was improving the most. Even if I think I have to do more, that will bring me probably even more results."

But after a 2025 season that saw him continue to rise—he broke into the ATP Top 10 for the first time and qualified for his first year-end ATP Finals—will the addition of Leandro spur the 23-year-old on to even greater things in 2026?
