A year after finishing runner-up at the Miami Open, Novak Djokovic won’t get the chance to go one step further at the second Sunshine Double stop.
The six-time champion withdrew from the ATP Masters 1000 event on Sunday, citing a right shoulder injury in an update provided by organizers. Djokovic was edged out by Jack Draper in one of the ATP’s matches of the year at Indian Wells Wednesday, falling to the reigning BNP Paribas Open champion in a decisive tiebreaker.
