Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz was in fine form against Mackenzie McDonald in his opening match in Cincinnati on Tuesday night, never facing a break point—never even going to deuce on his serve, either—en route to a 6-3, 6-2 victory in 65 minutes.

Alcaraz’s win over the American wasn’t just his first career win in Cincinnati, it was also his 43rd win of the year—which makes him the new ATP match wins leader for 2022.
