Twenty-one-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic defeated Marin Cilic in the final of Tel Aviv today, 6-3, 6-4, which not only gave him the 89th ATP title of his career, but also made him the first man to win a tour-level title on every surface this year—he won Rome on clay, Wimbledon on grass and now Tel Aviv on hard courts.

He’s the fifth man to win three or more tour-level titles this year, but the other four players have won all of their titles on just hard or clay.

MOST TOUR-LEVEL TITLES THIS YEAR (men):
5: Carlos Alcaraz (three on clay, two on hard)
4: Rafael Nadal (three on hard, one on clay)
3: Novak Djokovic (one on hard, one on clay, one on grass)
3: Casper Ruud (all on clay)
3: Andrey Rublev (two on hard, one on clay)

Only one woman—Caroline Garcia—has won a tour-level title on every surface this year. She won Bad Homburg on grass, Warsaw on clay and Cincinnati on hard.
