HIGHLIGHTS: Felix Auger-Aliassime overpowers Lorenzo Musetti | 2025 Shanghai 4R

CHANDA RUBIN

The ATP player on the bubble of qualifying for the Finals is most likely to make it to Turin is Félix Auger-Aliassime. FAA has a new lease on his tennis life after another breakthrough at the US Open. After getting married a few weeks ago, he's trying to extend his honeymoon into Turin and after beating Lorenzo Musetti, one of the players ahead of him, he is setting himself up to create his own destiny and make a second appearance at the ATP Finals.

PAUL ANNACONE

If Ben Shelton stays healthy he will get there, and it will be a huge accomplishment for Ben. With his win in Canada this summer and success at the majors, this really could move him to the highest level and give him the confidence to not only stay at the top but also challenge for major titles more consistently.

STEVE WEISSMAN

Félix Auger-Aliassime is coming off arguably the best September of his life. He beat Alexander Zverev and Alex De Minaur on his way to the semifinals in New York, and both guys are currently ahead of him in the Race to Turin. In years past, he has been the tennis version of Mr. October: four of his seven career titles have come in that month alone, which bodes well for him to pick up points and make up ground in the Race!

BRETT HABER

Félix Auger-Aliassime is No. 10 in the Race at the moment, but the indoor-hardcourt swing in the fall has always been the most fruitful stretch of his season. In fact, six of his seven career titles have come on the surface. I believe he will keep the momentum rolling from his US Open semifinal run and take that right through the end of the season.

JON WERTHEIM

He’s a long shot but keep an eye on Félix Auger-Aliassime, who knows his way around an indoor court.
