The Canadian teenager became the youngest semifinalist in Canada in a decade by defeating Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.

Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maniero scored the first big upset of Roland Garros in the early hours of Monday afternoon, defeating No. 9 seed Emma Navarro with the loss of just one game.

This is Bouzas Maneiro's first WTA 250 quarterfinal appearance of the year.
